Brisbane South State Secondary College is proud to announce that Expressions of Interest are now open for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, commencing in Year 11, 2026.

Located in the heart of Brisbane’s Knowledge Corridor and proudly collaborating with The University of Queensland, Brisbane South SSC offers students a unique opportunity to engage in a globally recognised qualification that prepares them for success at university and beyond.

The IB Diploma Programme is an academically challenging and balanced programme that encourages students to become:

  • Interculturally aware

  • Lifelong learners

This internationally respected qualification opens doors to higher education opportunities both in Australia and around the world, providing students with the knowledge, skills, and mindset to thrive in an increasingly interconnected global community.

Expressions of Interest are invited for Year 11, 2026. Applications close on Wednesday 10 September 2025.

Applications must include report cards and a suitability letter.
