'Propel' Student Leadership Program
Learning to lead- empowering curious minds and open hearts for a new world where they can create and lead positive change.
Our unique student leadership program starts with recognising our next generation of leaders in the junior secondary years of schooling. The exploration of leadership from early age empowers students to identify their unique passions, strengths and abilities, and learn how to use them to connect with, and lead others in meaningful and fulfilling ways.
The 'Propel' Student Leadership Program explores the power of influence by building character traits to enable students to step outside of their comfort zone and embark on their personal leadership journey. In the program, students will:
- explore the notion of creating a legacy by positively influencing others
- collaborate with the learning community to address and tackle issues that matter most to them
- explore the notion of how an effective and inspiring leadership team can have a dynamic and positive influence on their school and the world beyond
- develop skills in group goal setting, strategic planning and key strategies for achieving them
- develop a deeper understanding of who they are, how they connect and how they can contribute to the world
- lead by example to enrich the student experience of their peers.
How To Apply
All students will have the opportunity to apply for the 'Propel' Student Leadership Program for 2022 at the beginning of 2021. This will be advertised to students and parents via our newsletter, website and Facebook page.
