Get ready for a spectacular night of celebration as Brisbane South SSC Parents and Citizens' Association invites you to the annual P&C Riverfire Extravaganza!
The college gates will open this Saturday 6 September from 4:00pm to 8:00pm for the community to enjoy a fun filled evening!
Entry is via Grantham Street, which will be lined with delicious food trucks!
Join us for an unforgettable evening filled with fun, food, and fireworks! This year’s Riverfire Extravaganza promises to be bigger and better than ever, with:

🎶 Live entertainment, including our very own School of Rock band
🍔 Delicious hot food
🍹 A fully licensed bar
🎆 Breathtaking views of the ADF Flyover and Riverfire fireworks spectacular
Tickets
- Tickets are available now!
- Please present tickets at the Grantham Street entry gates
- Strictly no refunds - this is the P&Cs main fundraising event of the year and all monies raised go towards new equipment for the college!
Food and Drinks
- Food trucks will be located along Grantham Street - from gourmet sausages to mexican treats, everything you can think of!
- No BYO drinks or food - this is a P&C Fundraising Event
- Food and beverages will be available for purchase (cash or EFTPOS)
- BYO chair, picnic rug and umbrella
Parking and Transport
Parking around the College is limited - we strongly recommend using public transport.
- Boggo Road/Park Road Train Station and Bus Depot are just a 5-minute walk from the College.
Supporting Our Community
Riverfire is the P&C's major fundraising event of the year. Funds raised go directly towards initiatives that enhance the experiences and outcomes of BSSSC students and the wider community.
This event is made possible through the dedication of volunteers and the generous support of local businesses.
Raffle
The P&C have received some incredible raffle prizes from local businesses, including a Brisbane Lions 2025 Signed Away Guernsey!
If you can't make it on Saturday, you can still show your support by purchasing raffle tickets online.
